It has continued a renaissance from the four-time European champions. Their last triumph came in 2010 but there have been signs of a return to the top table of European rugby.
Toulouse also won five of their six group games and three away victories during this season's competition is a significant improvement from recent years.

Current form

Leinster have shown signs in recent weeks of not quite being the force of last season, with only one victory in their last four matches.
Their 39-24 home defeat to Glasgow on Saturday followed on from a 27-27 draw against Benetton at the RDS Arena. Leinster still have a commanding 16-point lead at the top of PRO14 Conference B.
Toulouse were involved in a gripping league match on Sunday after a 47-44 home win over Clermont. The victory leaves Toulouse eight points clear in first place in the Top 14.
With nine wins from their last ten games in all competitions, Toulon being the only side to defeat them, Toulouse are heading into the semi-final in excellent form.

Key players

James Ryan - Leinster
The 22-year-old Leinster and Ireland second row has been an influential figure for club and country. Ryan made a major contribution during their attritional quarter-final win over Ulster.
